Author Steven Hill on Travis Kalanick's Downfall at Uber

The day after Uber's former CEO Travis Kalanick resigned, I had the opportunity to speak to Steven Hill, author of the book "Raw Deal: How the 'Uber Economy' and Runaway Capitalism are Screwing American Workers." In his book, Hill predicted Kalancik's downfall.

Hill has some advice for Uber to stay afloat. He also has advice for lawmakers, companies, and freelancers, who must contend with an upended labor force that relies on "gigs" not full-time employment, which provides a New Deal-like safety net for employees.
